Shelley was born in Calgary but has lived in the Okanagan since 1970 and on the Naramata Bench since 1995 where she raised her family. With her husband Dave, she also operates a bed and breakfast where the spectacular view was showcased during the 2010 Olympic Winter Games B.C. marketing campaign.
She is affectionately known as the “true local” on our team not only because she has been a “Pentictonite” the longest, but also because she is a friend to many if not all of our local fans and their families. In addition, she is considered a leader in our community, donating much of her time to various projects to better local lives.
Shelley joined the La Frenz team in 2005, the year that the LA FRENZ Chardonnay and Merlot were selected for the Queen’s visit to Canada. Incidentally, this was also the year when Jeff and Niva opened the current wine shop and tasting room.
As an enthusiastic ambassador for the Okanagan wine and tourism industries, the highlight of her day is welcoming visitors to the tasting room. She is proud to be working with sought after, award-winning wines and the highly respected LA FRENZ Estate winery.
Shelley can be found greeting guests in the wine shop, at the on-line order desk and in the office.
