LA FRENZ wins!
LA FRENZ wines were recently awarded 6 PLATINUM Awards, 3 of which were DOUBLE PLATINUMS at the 14th annual Platinum Judging! We were pleased to have learned that once again, the Tawny was awarded a DOUBLE PLATINUM along with the 2009 Grand Total Reserve and the 2012 Alexandria.
The 2012 Sauvignon Blanc, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2011 Reserve Pinot Noir all received PLATINUM awards. In addition to these top awards, the following wines were recognized with a DOUBLE GOLD medal: the Liqueur Muscat, the 2011 Vivant, the 2011 Ensemble and the 2011 Riesling; and GOLD for the 2011 Reserve Chardonnay and the 2011 Viognier.
Since the beginning 14 years ago, the Wine Press Northwest magazine has invited only recently awarded gold medal wines to compete against one another. Titled the Platinum Judging, the goal of this competition is to determine the “best of the best” of the Pacific Northwest region. This year there were 634 gold medal winners judged by an experienced panel of judges who were hand selected for their experience in judging at numerous international and regional wine competitions. The wines are tasted blind and the judges have no knowledge of producer or price. We’re honoured and proud that all our entries won such notable recognition!
