The NV Liqueur Muscat wins double platinum at the Winepress Northwest “Best of the Best 2008 Platinum Judging”, with one of the judges commenting “I can’t think of a better thing to do with Muscat than what they did with this.”

2006 Reserve Pinot Noir was reviewed in the Wine Press Northwest Fall 2008 issue, earning an “Outstanding!” rating. "This Pinot Noir is certain to be a classic thanks to aromas of ripe plums, raspberries, light earth and cedar, followed by richly structured flavors of black cherries, plum jam and raspberries. Moderate tannins and spot on acidity provide perfect structure to a wine with so many delicious flavors."

"La Frenz continues to produce what I think to be the best wine available in Canada with little to no fanfare."

"My tastes are not Chardonnay-leaning, so for a Chard to impress me is truly a feat. This wine is simply super." [2007 Chardonnay]
Michael Pinkus the Grape Guy, Ontario, October 4, 2008.

"This is one of my favorite wines from my favorite BC producer. The 07 is wonderful, aromatic, crisp and just a tinge off dry. So tasty and killer value at $19."
[2007 Small Lots Riesling]
     Cellar Tracker, May 2008

"Elegant and silky texture, medium weight, supple tannins and elongated finish. Beautifully executed wine that is both delicious and good value." Score 91/100 Outstanding, has the wow factor. [2005 Shiraz]
Juliana Hayes “Grape Expectations” Okanagan Sunday, March 2, 2008

"La Frenz Shiraz is one that expresses the cool-climate terrior of the Naramata Bench. Naramata bench grown Syrah/Shiraz is known for its "sensuous elegance"
     John Schreiner

"To those who have followed Jeff Martin’s career, his 2005 Merlot’s emergence as best of show at the Northwest’s largest wine competition should be no surprise. The wines he has made at La Frenz since launching the boutique operation have been nothing short of sublime. When we taste La Frenz wines under double-blind conditions, we typically give them our “Outstanding” rating. It’s so uncanny, it borders on ridiculous."
