2008 Grand Total ReserveThis wine is a blend representing the very best assemblage of our bordeaux varietals, the pinnacle of our “big red” program. This is the first release showing the influence of the excellent Rockyfeller vineyard. We were able to form a seamless blend utilising the very best Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot has to offer. While the style has perennially always been rich, dark, powerful and endless, the use of 5 varietals has enabled extra elegance and layering that only multivarietal blending can achieve. Cellar carefully for up to 10yrs. We are continually humbled by favorable reports when this wine is blind tasted in the company of benchmark wines from around the world.
