This is a great example of what a stand-alone merlot has to offer. It has great concentration from the vineyard, showing complex spices, plum, and raspberry fruits with a hint of fresh mint. The palate is like a comfy leather sofa, deeply lush, soft and round in structure yet jam packed with dark fruits, caramel, and chocolate. This is a very complete merlot from a great vintage.
