Our Montage is a blend of Shiraz, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine has the full spectrum of dark cherry, blueberry, and plum fruit characteristics together with rich earthy characters. Matured in French and American oak, the finish displays dark chocolate, vanillin, and fine grained tannins. Ready to drink now or may cellar for up to five years for further bottle development.

Our Merlot is sourced from 30 year old vines, some of the oldest in the valley. The result year to year is superlative consistency and concentration. The wine has the darkest colour, with aromas of dark chocolate and plum. The palate is full bodied, showing both plushness and complexity. The 2006 vintage is one of the most structured that we have ever produced, so while drinkable now it will be at its best in a few years.

The 2006 Cabernet, sourced from 30 year old vine from the Black Sage, delivers power and structure with rich, concentrated fruit. The layers of dark fruits are interwoven with menthol, mint, dark chocolate, and fine grained, ageworthy tannins. This wine is a perennial favourite.

Elegant yet complex with the darkest red colour, this wine is brimming with violets, dark plum, blueberry pie, and just a hint of black pepper.
