2009 Sémillon
Knorr Vineyard

The grapes from this vineyard are some of the oldest, if not the oldest, plantings of the variety in Canada which accounts for its year to year consistency. While young, the wine displays delicious citrus grapefruit, honeysuckle, and lemonade with a hint of lemon zest. As is typical of this variety, more golden color, intriguing toasty, straw, and dried fig characters will begin to develop with extended time in bottle for up to 5–7 yrs . Blended with 10% barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc for added body and lifted aromatics.
