2008 ShirazRockyfeller Vineyard
This shiraz is very reminiscent of a northern Rhone style. The aroma shows beautiful ripe red and dark fruits with floral and violet notes showing through. This shiraz is more about elegance and layering than sheer power, showing sweet fruits, superb French oak, ripe tannins, and a wonderful length to the palate. A great example of cool climate shiraz or syrah depending on where you are from in the world.
