2007 Semillon$18 per bottle ($216 per case)
Available
This is a fresh, crisp, fruit-driven wine with the complexity to develop further in the bottle for up to five years. Intense grapefruit, citrus, and gooseberry flavours predominate when young. Approximately 15% was barrel fermented for added complexity, and 10% barrel-fermented sauvignon blanc was blended into the finished wine, resulting in good body with fresh, vibrant fruit wrapped around a complex core.
2007 Small Lots Sauvignon Blanc$22 per bottle ($264 per case)
Available
Our Sauvignon Blanc is made in a crisp dry style. A range of picking dates was used to capture the full spectrum of passion fruit, green bean, and asparagus characters for which we have become known. Approximately 30% was harvested very late and barrel fermented, which makes this vintage one of the most complex examples of the varietal.
2007 Small Lots Riesling$19 per bottle ($228 per case)
Available
This variety is very much made in the vineyard, followed by super gentle handling of the wine in the cellar to retain fruit and delicacy with wonderful aromas of green apple, honey, lime, and flower blossoms. The palate has been purposely left off-dry to balance the naturally high acidity of riesling. This wine has the potential to develop for a further five years.
2007 Viognier$20 per bottle ($240 per case)
Available
This wine has it all, the whole range of fruits from dried apricots, canned peaches and mango. The fruit of this wine never seems to end, an excellent year. This variety gives its best when fully ripened, allowing for a higher alcohol level and warmth to the palate.
2007 Chardonnay$20 per bottle ($240 per case)
Available
50% of the final blend is barrel fermented, producing classy oak notes overlaying a range of peach, nectarine, and pineapple fruit characters. While this vintage is true to our "peaches and cream style" emphasizing the fruit before the oak, it is very complex and by most people’s standards is a reserve quality chardonnay.
2007 Alexandria$18 per bottle ($216 per case)
Available
This wine is developing a huge following. The fermentation was stopped by cooling to retain a high sugar level which complements the luscious fruit flavours. It can be enjoyed on its own, and is also ideal with spicier foods such as Thai. This wine will develop some beautiful complexities with further cellaring of up to five years.
