NV Tawny Port
La Frenz

2016 Release. 

A favourite amongst port lovers, this wine's tantalizing and warm spice aromatics soothe the soul. Crafted using a Solera system, our Tawny has developed bouquet reminiscent of dark fruit cake -- nuts, dates and raisins – with a drizzle of warm butterscotch sauce.

While considered sweet it finishes dry with a long lingering aftertaste. One sip and you'll discover the perfect companion on a cool evening around a cozy fire.

Since the Tawny is a combination of vintages, it will not benefit from any additional cellaring. It is already showing the beautiful and complex characteristics that come from the multiple years spent in neutral barrels.

NV Liqueur Muscat
La Frenz

2016 Release

Modelled after the enticing and well-known fortified muscats of the Rutherglen region in Australia, the alluring and concentrated aromatics of dried apricots and steeped Earl Grey tea with a hint of vanilla, draw you into savour this gorgeous fortified wine.

The perfumed notes follow through on the palate where you will experience flavors of butterscotch, buttery dried fruit panettone, cinnamon and the nectar-like notes unique to the Muscat grape varietal. This wine showcases power and complexity that can only come from time. Our Liqueur Muscat is produced in a Solera system, meaning the average age of the blend progressively becomes older. The wine is aged in neutral oak barrels and is a blend of three Muscat varietals, the dominant one being the Schönberger grape.

Since this wine is a combination of vintages, the Liqueur Muscat will not benefit from any additional cellaring. It is already showing aged characteristics from the multiple years in neutral barrels. It is a charming way to end an evening with this beauty.

2014 Vintage Port Style
La Frenz

A classic Vintage Port develops in bottle. Our Vintage Port is very enjoyable upon release as a young wine, but if aged in bottle it will develop complex dark fruitcake, plum pudding characteristics with a noticeable licorice aroma. As is traditional with Australian vintage port we used dark, ripe estate grown Shiraz grapes which offer the mouth-watering aromatics of sweet blueberries with hints of white pepper.

Our own custom-distilled brandy dosage adds fortification and complexity to the wine. The wine is sweet, but finishes dry on the palate.

Under ideal cellaring conditions and a reservoir of patience, we believe this wine can continue to develop for up to twenty years for an unforgettable experience!
